IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Measurements and safety

YOU MUST OWN A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE BINDER BEFORE YOU ORDER.

All our corsets are made to measure by hand. After you check out, I will send you an email to schedule a zoom call for a remote measuring and fitting session.

During the call, you will need to wear your binder. This is the only way for us to determine how much flattening your body can take. We will not engage in guesswork. You will need a tailor's measuring tape, a ruler, sticky tape and a ribbon or a piece of thick yarn to tie around your waist. You will also need somebody to assist you.

Out of safety concerns, we only make flattening vests with a mockup. This means that, first, you get sent a trial garment. You wear it, evaluate the comfort, decide if you're satisfied with the shape, then we make the final corset.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Making process

If I do not receive a response to my emails about the measurements within two weeks, I WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND REFUND YOU.

This is especially important in case there's a deadline. I cannot begin working on your corset until I have the measurements.

Safety

Synthetic fibers are more flammable than natural fibers, so please take extra care next to open flames and/or heat sources while wearing the corset.

If you feel any pain, if you feel dizzy, short of breath or unwell in any other way, please loosen the corset or take it off. Always listen to your body, eat in smaller portions, drink water and move often.

We may refuse to pattern the requested waist reduction if we feel it's not safe for your body.

Care instructions

For best results, we recommend wearing cotton-lined corsets over a protective layer - a blouse, a t-shirt or a specialized corset cover that absorbs the body moisture and odors.

To refresh your corset, you can spray the inside with rubbing alcohol.

For a deeper clean, gently wash it by hand with soap and lukewarm water. After washing, gently squeeze out the water with a towel on both sides and spread flat on a rack or a ventilated surface.

DO NOT WRING

DO NOT WASH IN A MACHINE

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY

Taking it to a dry cleaner is also an option.
